Legendary corporate executive, Paul Taylor, former Botswana Telecoms boss passes on at 61.He passed on Wednesday morning, his family announced late yesterday.
Taylor led Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) for 5 years until July 2016. His contributions include revenue growth of nearly 50%, integration of three separate businesses beMOBILE, BTCL Home and Office and Botsnet into one converged organisation.”
During his tenure, he ensured that the business delivered on its Strategy. Taylor also led the separation and transfer of assets exercise that culminated in the creation of BoFiNet in 2013 and guided the subsequent listing of BTCL on the BSE in 2016.
