Botswana Development Corporation (BDC) will host the inaugural Botswana Investment Forum ’26 on Thursday, 5 November 2026, at Fairground Holdings in Gaborone.
The forum will be bringing together local and international investors, financiers, business leaders and policymakers to explore investment opportunities in Botswana.
Held under the theme “Capital. Enterprise. Growth,” the forum seeks to connect investment capital with viable projects, strengthen partnerships and accelerate economic diversification beyond diamonds.
Speaking ahead of the event, Agodirwe Mapoka, BDC Acting Head of Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations, said the platform is intended to move investment conversations beyond discussions towards tangible commitments, partnerships and actual deals.
Mapoka highlighted manufacturing, agro-processing, renewable energy and other productive sectors as key areas offering investment opportunities. She said the forum will also showcase curated projects from BDC’s pipeline, government initiatives and partner institutions.
As Botswana intensifies efforts to industrialise, strengthen local value chains, promote exports and create employment, the forum is expected to provide a direct platform for matching investment-ready opportunities with local, regional and international capital.
Proceedings will begin at 09:00hrs.
